SEGI

Ethel Ekpe (SEGI)  a veteran actress, graced the Nigerian entertainment screen for many years before her demise on February 7 in Lagos State. She was prominently recognized for her role as 'Segi' in the Nigerian Television Authority sitcom, 'Basi and Company.' Ekpe fought a long battle with cancer, and her contributions to the industry will always be remembered.


 SISI QUADRI

On March 1, the Yoruba Nollywood actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, passed away at the age of 44. Oyebamiji celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023, just a few months before his untimely demise. The news of his death was shared by colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry, and his absence will be deeply felt by the Nollywood community.

With numerous film credits to his name, including the award-winning movie "Secret Adventures," Odonwodo made a name for himself in the industry. Tragically, he lost his life on March 10 in a boating accident while filming in Asaba, Delta State.
